Awesome tournament, one of the best personally, well organized and a nice event for the spectators.
ReplyDeleteIt is cool that the tournament is very active on social media. Today many people get their information and news on social media, I think this is a good business move for them and can help generate interest with younger generations.
ReplyDeleteI agree with this Allison, tennis not always be the most 'appealing' sport to the younger generation. Therefore if this is a lot more active on social media platforms, it may well help generate a bigger interest with younger people.
DeleteWow! I haven't realized how big is Roland Garros in terms of tennis courts and the 3 big stadions. That impact me a lot. If I had had to guess the number of courts, no way I would had said 20...!
ReplyDeleteYes, because it is a really big tournament and there are a lot of players who are competing for the tilte! So they need to have a lot of courts to satisfy all the players. And some players are signed up for single match, double match and mixed matches, so they are more matches than there are people!
