Before we start talking about the Grand Slams, we want to get to know the player better.

What an impressive statistic! I think Rafa Nadal suffered a bit with his injuries during the last seasons. I really hope he'll stay in shape during the next Grand Slams and show us his awesome skills playing with mixture of so much power and technique!
ReplyDeleteAlthough years affect everyone and Federer and Nadal are starting to suffer more to reach finals, I think that this monopoly will continue at least a few years more. Players like Murray or Berdych have reached their ceiling and they are not at "The Big Three" level. And the worst news for the "Tennis Industry" is that there is no future generation that in the next years can shadow these players we are talking about. Andrey Rublev seems the future superstar but is still far from Djokovic level that i think will be the reference for a few years more without competitors.

ReplyDeleteThe Big Three are amazing! Andy Muarry has also impressed a lot these past few years. I would love to see a bit more about the female stars such as Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova and Ana Ivanovic.
ReplyDelete@ Tilla, next blog we can zoom in more on the female stars!

ReplyDeleteNowadays , we are experiencing a stage in the sport where the players are being many years of success, or at least in Spain.
ReplyDeleteWe have players like Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer who have spent many years gaining. Also in other sports we have people like Fernando Alonso or Hamilton , Tiger Woods , Messi, Iniesta and Valdes . They are players who have more than 10 years of success.
With these data we see that new generations could not raise and to be the number one costs a lot of efford, not only this but we see great champions that do not put things easy to subsequent generations , and this is what makes the difference.
In this case we can see like this three are meybe the three best tennis players in the world and it will be very difficult to see again one generation like this one.

Great statistic. It is awesome how these top tennis players are always winning Grand slams. It seems to be easy but there is a hard training behind that. This sports shows how some people do not have limits.
